ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY & SOLDERING TECHNICIAN
Research & Development Engineering Company seeks a motivated Technician to assist in the assembly of electronic and mechanical components and systems. Prior work in technical or manufacturing environment is desirable.
Skills Required:
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong work ethic.
- Some computer skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic, mechanical and /or electromechanical system components.
- Follow blueprints.
- Apply epoxies and/or fasteners using hand and automated tools.
- Perform complex soldering.
- Perform test activities.
- Document all work performed in a detailed and organized manner.
- Recognize and communicate process deviations.
- Track progress and report to management.
Required Education & Experience:
Prior experience required in manufacture and assembly of electronic, mechanical and/or electromechanical systems and components. Applicable Technical or Associate Degree or 3 to 5 years experience as an Assembly Technician or Engineering Assistant.
Other Specialized Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to work with chemicals used for cleaning and preparing electronic and mechanical parts for assembly, and needs to be able to lift and move larger components.
